Liquid Casing® enhances sealing and plugging functions through the concept of Wedging Compressibility of micro-fractures and porous formations, a concept which is built on filter cake studies showing that Liquid Casing will bind to and fill spaces between frac sands and rock formations. By mechanically reinforcing the formation in this way, the results produced are lost‐circulation prevention and wall-cake permeability reduction.
